left: my galactic warmth quilt was inspired by my love for the movie "star wars." i made the quilt with the guidance of my older sister, who is an avid seamstress, and it won a first-place award at the san mateo county fair.
right: my self-portrait collage was made in my contemporary media and art class. i chose to use blues and greens because it represents the color scheme of our planet. it is a reflection of my commitment to preserving the natural environment.
